Managing Director of Positive Renovations, Rick Stapleton started his career as an Associate Director of Leveraged Acquisition Finance where he underwrote, arranged and syndicated debt for some of Australia’s largest leveraged buyouts. Following a six year career, he became the Finance Director at Shakespeare Haney Securities, where he was responsible for assessing loan applications for residential, commercial and industrial projects, project managing large constructions and completing projects as mortgagee-in-possession.

Today, alongside detailed renovations for all types of property, Rick has the added experience of completing numerous unit block renovations and has completed hundreds of granny flat installations in both investment properties and principle place of residences (PPOR) giving him invaluable experience in how to maximise profits and highly skilled practical knowledge on the installation of all types of granny flat configurations .

Rick has a Bachelor of Commerce from Bond University majoring in Finance and a Diploma in Mortgage Lending adding to his strategic ability to look at a project with foresight and endeavour to cut costs, and foresee troublesome roadblocks working out viable and cost effective strategies to increase the value of your investment or home.
